Lauren Scherr is a writer based in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Her essays and poems have appeared in Off Assignment, The Audacity by Roxane Gay, and ANMLY. 

 

Lauren is an editor for Birdcoat Quarterly and the publisher of yasumi, a newsletter about creativity and rest. She has received fellowships and support from Vermont Studio Center, Tin House, and the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop.
